Since the beginning of time there have been christians who are cheesy, and those who are cool (me), 
in my opinion if you present a non believer with the cheesy, “if you died tonight” tract, it is less effective than presenting Jesus in a “cool” way. This may be a touchy subject, maybe not. i know the moderator of this board is a born again, cheesehead, but i know he won’t be offended by this so ill continue. lol.
In the present times we are living in, there is so much competing for our time, affection, and attention. The world is screaming loud, we need to be screaming “Jesus” louder. That’s one reason why the youth of the nation (shoutout to POD) need to find Jesus, so they can reach their own generation, cuz who would do a better job? i’m not saying we need to be free spirited and do whatever we want, but what is wrong with reaching the lost in “hip” new ways as opposed to tract passing? Why not have an ultimate dance party/concert with a gospel message?
All in all, the point i’m trying to make is not cheesy vs. cool because all that, is in the eyes of other people. Believe it or not, i may even be thought of as cheesy in some circles….lol, naaahhhh.
We need to reach people where they are at WITHOUT compromising the gospel. We aren’t going to invite a college student to a night of worship, singing the best hymns. i know that would turn me off faster than the clapper.

The point is this…we need to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus. We need to reach the dying people around us. Tracts work, barbecues work, alter calls work, concerts work. WE NEED TO BE PLANTING SEEDS AND PRAYING. GOD WILL CAUSE GROWTH.
